March 29th, 2025, Jirah Joshua, Benin Kingdom Museum Bronze-making Fellow, dedicating his Benin bronze inspired leather mudfish stool to ancestors sold by the Benin Kingdom royals into the Maangamizi (African Holocaust) in exchange for metal used to make the Benin bronze wall plaques.
